Local Landmarks
The City's Division of Historic Services and Museums provides support for local groups and citizens who wish to recognize, preserve and interpret City history and historic sites.
Local landmarks are places, people and events that are significant to the local history of the City. Some local landmarks could someday be placed on the State and National Registers. There are no formal criteria for determining local landmarks; however, such criteria should be established.
