Workforce Housing
District III has a large stock of affordable housing. Workforce housing is affordable to households earning incomes within the range 80% - 120% of area median income. A broad range of housing stock is necessary to provide opportunities for a mixture of incomes. Because the district has a large inventory of affordable housing, the city should develop programs to protect and strengthen its existing supply within the neighborhoods.
