Compatible Infill
Because our City is mostly developed, there is focus on smaller, infill sites for both commercial and residential development. These sites typically are surrounded by established development. The character of the surrounding area is easily altered by infill development. New infill development should be beneficial to its surroundings. Updating the development review processes to focus on infill development will help ensure that new development enhances its surroundings. Examples of infill development that are attractive respective to their surroundings are: Villages of Stoney Run and the convenience store on the northwest corner of Denbigh Boulevard and Jefferson Avenue.
